Happy Tuesday!

Getting right into many of our units, you will notice materials coming come related to our first math unit on Patterning, some spelling activities and possibly a few things on Habitats. My policy is simple. I only assign homework when something is not finished and sufficient time has been given in class to complete a task. Math activities from the day's lesson may need to be completed, but your limit is 1/2 an hour. If the student is spending more time than that to finish, please just put a quick note in the agenda and I will help the child with it at school. If a spelling activity is assigned for the week, it will be due at the end of the week and information will be on the blog calendar if there is quiz on the words (Normally a spelling test would be on the Friday of that week.). I always like to encourage some quite reading time in the evening (20 minutes would be great!). I look forward to meeting many of you at the Opened House.
